WHAT ARE YOUR EXPECTATIONS FOR THE
PITTSBURGH PUBLIC SCHOOL BOARD?

A+ Schools believes that the Pittsburgh Public Schools are vital to the success of the region.  We believe good school board governance is essential to improving our schools.  To that end, we would like to understand how the community views the Pittsburgh Public Schools' school board governance.

Please visit this link to complete the brief online survey (the survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete).  Your responses will help us identify and communicate the community's expectations.

Thank you for your support!

 DID YOU KNOW?

The deadline for families to apply for "Supplemental Education Services" (SES) is FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2010.

Eligible SES tutoring providers include:

❖ Nonprofits (such as community groups)
❖ For-profit companies
❖ Religious groups such as churches or mosques
❖ Companies that provide instruction through the Internet
❖ Colleges and universities
❖ School districts
❖ Individual schools (including charter schools) that were not designated as "School Improvement" I or II, or "Corrective Action" I or II
❖ Schools designated as "Warning," (depending on the reason for the designation)

To find out more about SES and to see a list of eligible providers in the Pittsburgh area, please check out our website.
