On April 10 at 4:30 PM, Destiny International Ministry will be hosting the The Curtis Allen Rawlings Black College Tour concert to assist in raising funds for students attending the tour. Tickets are $15, see Papa D.

REDD-UP
Its time for our annual day of community service, Redd-Up comes out April 16 from 9 until 12 to assist in cleaning our community. We will meet at the center have a continental breakfast then clean our designated area; Neuman Way. Afterwards lunch is available through the Redd-Up project; show our kids we care about our community. This is a family activity, parents must attend.

Spring Break
Pittsburgh Public Schools will be closed 4/18 through 4/22 for spring break; we are closed on Friday, April 22 in observation of Good Friday. We have planned the following activities for children 4 and up at the facility.

• Monday is game day we will on site
• Tuesday we will go skating; the cost is $5 per child
• Wednesday we will be going bowling; the cost is $5 per child
• Thursday is Spring Fling at Westinghouse Park weather permitting for everyone. We will be at the park from 10 am until 3 to have an egg hunt, games and lunch. We are asking parents to provide treats or prizes to assist. Parents are welcome to attend.

Change of Clothes
Please make sure your child has a seasonally appropriate change of clothes on hand; especially since the weather is breaking and we will be outside playing more often. School-age children should have a change of clothes and shoes in order to prevent destroying their uniform.

Idlewild Day
We are bring back Idlewild Family Day, Friday, June 17, 2011; we will get a bus in the morning and spend the day at the park. There will be a cost attributed to this event more details to come. Your parent must attend if you are under the age of 5;
